Activity

Children will usually start to use blunt scissors at the age of 2 when exploring sensory materials like play-dough, leaves and cooked spaghetti etc. At around age 3, they'll begin to cut paper & start to practise cutting a long lines (curved, zig-zag & straight). This digital download allows children to practise their cutting, in an engaging and fun way!

The 28pg bundle includes both activities:

Scissor Skill Strips-8 different patterns + blanks to create your own. Students will get a sense of achievement as they begin to cut out different shapes with just one cut. Use the cut offs to make a collage!

Crazy Hair -7 hair styles with varied emotions + blanks to create your own. Once cut, the hair is irresistible to play with!

All activities are designed to be printed onto A4 coloured paper/card stock, or, children can colour them themselves before cutting!
